Dabney Morris is a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. His films include 2025 Cannes Film Festival premier, SPLITSVILLE; Sundance 2023’s opening film, SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT DYING; Deauville Film Festival Critics’ Prize winner, COLOR BOOK; the Oscar short-listed documentary PROCESSION; Rachel Lambert’s, I CAN FEEL YOU WALKING; and Alex Ross Perry's PAVEMENTS.

      Dabney has created original scores for numerous films including, Splitsville, Sometimes I Think About Dying, Procession, Color Book, and Broken Diamonds. As an orchestrator, he has worked on films like The Exorcist: Believer, All the Bright Places, and Let It Snow.

      Dabney has written additional music for shows such as Extrapolations, Heaven’s Gate: Cult of Cults, A Teacher, and Kevin Can F**k Himself. He has orchestrated for shows like Homecoming, Death and Other Details, and Presumed Innocent.

      Dabney has crafted arrangements for artists such as The Brook and the Bluff, Louis Prince, Skyway Man, and Molly Pardon.
