Dabney Morris is a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. His films include 2025 Cannes Film Festival premier, SPLITSVILLE; Sundance 2023’s opening film, SOMETIMES I THINK ABOUT DYING; Deauville Film Festival Critics’ Prize winner, COLOR BOOK; the Oscar short-listed documentary PROCESSION; Rachel Lambert’s, I CAN FEEL YOU WALKING; and Alex Ross Perry's PAVEMENTS.

As a concert composer, his chamber works have been performed by the Alias Chamber Ensemble and Lockeland Strings.

He has provided arrangements for artists like Louis Prince, The Brook and the Bluff, Skyway Man, and Molly Pardon.

In his free time, Morris enjoys tennis (which I’m not very good at), chess (which I’m marginally better at), and record collecting.
